Voice Messages From My Boys
***4 VIDEOS***
My voice mail box is literally full of voice messages - almost all of which are from my boys. They know my number by heart, and so they call me out of the blue when they're staying at their mom's from time to time.
Well, a full voice mail box doesn't do much good, so I needed to look for a way to save these precious litttle snipits. So to the blog they go. Here's just a couple to get started, and to open up a bit of space on my cell phone. I'm so glad I have these!
"Hello. Dad, I miss you. I love you. Hope you can come home soon. I'm being a good boy. Bye."
"Daddy? Daddy? Sorry, Mom. Daddy's not here."
"Mommy said that you... so I know that you would want me to do... I know that you would wnat me to call you, and you told me to call you every day, so I remembered that... And I really want to come over..."
Probably my favorite one ever! Connor is such a thinker... He's always trying to figure stuff out... just like his dad. But I think he's way smarter than I was at his age...
"Hi, Dad. Who was the first person on bearth... On Earth... Who was the first person on Earth.
I think it wasn't Heavenly Father, because he wasn't born first.
And who was his dad, and who was his dad, and who was his dad, and who was his father, and who was his mom, and who was his mom, and who was his mom, and who was his mom, and who was his mom, and who was his mom, and who was his dad, and who was his dad, and who was his dad, and who was his dad.
Dad, can you tell me, I know you're really smart. Ok? bye." (inaudible - if someone can figure it out, let me know) "Can you turn the light on?"
Love these! What a great way to preserve them. You are so impressive with your blog updates. I need to follow your example better.
That is SO cute! What a great idea, miss that little guy, hope you guys are doing great
You are so technology advanced! I don't think I would have ever been able to figure out how to get those from my cell to the blog! These are definitely memories to keep cuz it helps remind us how precious our little ones are and how much they love us! You're amazing Brian and a great daddy! :)
love the new look... i need to find my way around this place:) how did you post your phone messages, that's rad dude!
To save the videos, i used speakerphone with a digital audio recorder. Then I used a simple movie editing tool to create the clip. Instead of video, though, I used still images, and put the recorded voice messages on one of the audio tracks. I can show you sometime, sis, if you want me to.
Thanks, Kashina! We're doing wonderfully! Connor sure loves you. I'm so glad we got him in your class!
