When You Take A Puppy To School...
Connor had been asking every day for a week if he could take Bela to school to show his friends. After getting approval from his teacher, Mrs. Wilson (the absolute greatest!) we got Bela ready and took her in for the class to see. I have volunteered quite a bit in Connor's class this year so the students and I are all good friends, so it was great to spend one last day with them before Summer break.
They all loved the puppy. Connor did a great job walking the puppy from person to person, showing everyone how she already knows how to "sit". He was the proudest little boy I've seen.
A few days after our visit to school was Kindergarten Graduation. Mrs. Wilson did an outstanding job putting together a little farewell for all the parents. The children sang several songs, and Connor was giving it his all... I'm so proud of him! He's still struggling with a few of his numbers, so we've added math to our home study routine. He sure is determined to do well!
Thank you, Mrs. Wilson for letting me bring Bella in. And thank you again for all you did for our children. We're going to miss you!
