The Redwood Forrest
On Sunday we hoped on the jet and flew to Northern California to visit the Redwood Forest. It was just Connor, Rocky, Grandpa, and me. We weren’t quite sure where to go we got there, so we just started driving until we came to a place called “ Lady Bird Johnson Grove” which had a nice trail to walk down. The trail was 1.5 miles, and Connor walked pretty much the whole way. Rocky did pretty well too.
The trees there are so amazing. Massive, enormous, spectacular! Heavenly Father created some real beauty in this world, and the Redwood Forest is some my favorite. Being there with my boys and dad, I was in heaven.
Finally, at the end of the trail Rocky decided he needed to go to the bathroom, so he and I did our part to support the continued growth of the forest. (sorry, I’ve only got a picture of Rocky for this one)
