Me 'n my boys!

I had Crabbing coming up with my boy Connor this weekend, and Rocky was still to young to come, so I took him out for some special father/son one on one time.  Rocky LOVES taking pictures with my digital camera.  And, truthfully, he’s a pretty good picture taker for a 3 year old!!!  So I picked him up his own camera last week (one that was on sale for 60% off at a going out of business sale – only cost about $35!).   And Rocky and I went on a drive to take pictures, and to the river to feed the ducks – just Rocky and Dad. 

We had a great time!  Rocky took picture after picture!  He loved it!!!  And there were more ducks and geese at the river than I ever remember seeing there before.  Rocky would feed them, and then once in a while would take off after chasing one to see if he could catch it! 

For me, the highlight of the day was after we were all said and done, in the car, all calmed down and headed back home, Rocky said in his soft little tone, “Dad, I love you.  You’re my favorite Dad ever.”  I have to remember to always schedule one on one time with these guys.  It is so valuable and precious.
