Air Show!

This Saturday I took the boys to the Air Show in Rexburg. What a great event! The stunt pilots were amazing, they had old war planes, stunt planes, military jets, and skydivers. Plus, on the ground they had military vehicles that they let kids play in, planes see up-close, and a rock climbing wall. And they do this all for FREE!!!
We took Bela along, and she loved the show! We were right up close to the planes and she didn’t seem to mind the noise at all, such a good little dog. And she was definitely a people magnate. I couldn’t even count the number of people (especially little kids) who stopped by and said “Hey, it’s Marley!!!” and asked to pet her.
Once again, we were a little worried about rain… and once again it held off just right. About 15 minutes after the event was over came a downpour. Perfect timing! We had a great time, and the boys have been talking about the show ever since.
It is so awesome that you take the boys to events like this. You are such a great Dad and the boys will remember these good times with their Dad fondly. Remember the fun times we had with our Dad. One of my favorites is when he took us both fishing. We camped along the side of the road so we could get up early to fish. It was just you and me and Dad. We fishing on the bank of who knows what river when you cast your line and fell all the way down (maybe 12 feet down)the bank and into the river. Dad was down the bank so fast to grab you before you went into the water, I think he beat you down. We had an awesome childhood! I have so many fun memories with you and I am so glad you are my brother!
