The Indoor Garden...
Wednesday I picked up the boys from school and we drove up to our favorite forest in Rigby to walk through the woods. It was beautiful!
After we got home, we decided to plant ourselves an indoor garden. It’s the our first attempt at any such thing. Each of the boys picked out the seeds they wanted to plant, and we planted a row of 5 of each type. We talked a lot about how each seed looks different – different size, shape, etc. It was great fun!
The seedlings are now sitting in the window with ample sunshine during the day. I’ve never been the best at taking care of plants, so I hope something starts to pop up soon. I don’t want to let the boys down.
If everything turns out well, we’ll make a transplant to an outside garden in a few weeks. Keep your fingers crossed. (we’ll need it)
Sunday morning we saw some of the plants poke above the surface... Monday morning life from 9 of the 25 planters were showing. The boys are so excited!
