Me 'n my boys!

I made the mistake a few months ago of pulling out the guitar and singing the boys to sleep.  Ever since then, it has become a necessary part of our bedtime routine.  When it’s time for bed, the inevatible question is “Can you sing to us again tonight, dad? “  In fact it’s not a request, it is now a requirement…   Now I don’t play guitar very well, nor sing all that great, but they’re too young to know, and truthfully I’m happy to sing to the two most precious little guys I know. 

By the third song, the request always goes to “Daddy, can you sing ‘blowin in the wind?’  ‘Please dad, blowin’ in the wind.”  Which is also one of the precious songs I remember my dad singing to me when I was a boy.  Life can be so wonderful.
